Location:

Woodstock, Ontario

We're seeking a reliable and hands-on individual to help manage a busy rural household and property in the Woodstock area. The home is active and family-run, with children present, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable in a family environment while maintaining independence in their work.

This is more than a housekeeping role -- it's a diverse, independent position ideal for someone who enjoys variety, outdoor work, and taking initiative.

What You'll Do:

Clean and maintain the main home and family-operated small business buildings Light meal prep (basic meals or ingredient prep) General yard work, including cutting grass and seasonal outdoor upkeep Basic oversight of the property when the family is away (e.g., house checks, farm animal care) Support with day-to-day operations of the home (e.g., organization, supply restocking, errands) Light animal care -- feeding/check-ins (no training or vet care required) Light childcare may be required

Ideal Candidate:

Lives in or near Woodstock, Ontario Has experience working independently in homes, farms, or rural properties Is organized, proactive, and dependable Comfortable with physical tasks (e.g., yard work, cleaning, grass cutting) Familiarity with farm life is a

strong asset

Previous housekeeping or home/property care experience

Nice to Have:

Experience with general outdoor work or light farm responsibilities
