What You'll Do
Site Leadership & Coordination
Manage and supervise sub-trades and co-workers; set daily expectations and priorities.
Ensure site preparedness for sub-trades, inspections, and deliveries; verify material quantities on arrival.
Coordinate schedules with the Project Coordinator; flag risks early and hold follow-ups.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Maintain quality standards and building code compliance (Parts 9 and 3 familiarity an asset).
Keep a clean, safe, and secure site at all times; model safe work practices.
Identify plan errors/omissions and propose practical, code-compliant, cost-effective solutions.
Documentation & Communication
Document site conditions, progress, photos, and decisions daily.
Resolve project and job-site challenges with the Project Coordinator; escalate promptly when required.
Assist with RFQs/material coordination as needed.
Client & Municipal Interface
Assist in managing client expectations and supervise client visits.
Prepare for and participate in municipal inspections; guide inspectors on-site.
Lead pre-delivery inspections and ensure deficiencies are documented and addressed.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to refining company policies, procedures, and checklists.
What You'll Need
10+ years of experience in residential construction.
3+ years of full-time residential site supervision.
In-depth understanding of the residential construction process, excavation, services, foundation, framing, building envelope, and finish carpentry.
Strong working knowledge of building standards.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Skilled trade certificate, college diploma, or university degree.
Well-maintained vehicle and a smartphone.
What You'll Get
Time Off:
3 weeks paid (2 vacation + 1 week at Christmas); +1 week vacation at 5 years; 5 sick/personal days.
Schedule:
Weekdays only; ~8 hours/day; flexibility on start/end times in accordance with the needs of the work site; year-round employment.

Paid recertification for required industry courses.
Transportation:
Reimbursement for all vehicle mileage during work hours.
