Home Centre Manager
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
Organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Home Centre ensuring an acceptable level of contribution.
Work closely with department managers to maintain an effective team with appropriate staffing, training and development.
Provide guidance with regard to location business planning, budgeting and goal setting as they align to the overall retail goals and objectives.
Provide operational direction and supporting the implementation of programs and policies. Apply a broad-based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
Who you are:
You have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. You have 5+ years of retail management experience. You have experience in project estimation and lumber procurement. You have building materials experience and knowledge of home and building supplies. You are able to work well with minimal supervision. You have a proven ability to solve problems and develop credible relationships with team leaders, team members and other stake holders. You're aligned with our Values.
