RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS AN ASSET

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and community settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, disability support, or home health services, and possess a strong commitment to patient safety and dignity.

Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans Support patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other memory care needs through specialized care techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities while adhering to HIPAA regulations Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely and effectively Observe and report on patient condition, behavior, and any changes in health status Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Follow safety protocols during patient care, including CPR and first aid procedures when necessary Perform light cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic environment

Qualifications

Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication management, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or HIPAA compliance are highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's is a plus Ability to work independently while following established care plans and protocols Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient dignity and respect Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support such as Hoyer lifts or transfers Background in social work or long-term care is advantageous

Pay: $19.45 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
