Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support overnights. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, including working with seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' health status. Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or palliative care. Medication assistance

Qualifications

Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Familiarity with monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations. Ability to perform basic lifting as required by client needs. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions from healthcare professionals. Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
