Prince Albert Grand Council (PAGC) is actively seeking to recruit permanent full-time Home Care Nurse for Shoal Lake Cree Nation.
Qualifications
Registered with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses? Association (SRNA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse registered with Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses (SALPN).
Have at least 2 or more years in an acute care setting; previous home care nursing experience in First Nations community preferred.
Maintain valid SK Driver?s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and self-directed
Able to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong physical assessment skills
Assets
Knowledge of Cree language and culture
Previous home care nursing experience
Knowledge or awareness of First Nations community health programs and treatment services
