Description
Prince Albert Grand Council (PAGC) is actively seeking to recruit casual Home Care Nurses for PAGC communities, including one which is a remote fly-in community. Shifts will range from one week or more, depending on need and availability. Accommodations and travel are provided, including return air fare from either Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge for Hatchet Lake placements.
Qualifications:
Registered with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses? Association (SRNA)
Have at least 2 or more years in an acute care setting; previous home care nursing experience in First Nations community preferred.
Maintain valid SK Driver?s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and self-directed
Able to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong physical assessment skills
Ability to travel to remote fly-in community
Assets:
Knowledge of Indigenous language and culture
Knowledge or awareness of First Nations community health programs and treatment services
