Responsibilities

Provide compassionate caregiving services to clients in their homes. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search Valid Driver's License and vehicle required Previous Home Care experience an asset Ability and willingness to travel to and from Client's home within the city of Edmonton Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia
