Acupuncture Care Holistic Center is a well established busy wellness center and we are looking to diversify our services welcoming a Holistic Health Practioner to our team of physicians. With 28 years of industry experience from Dr. Ling there is no shortage of knowledge and growth potential at our clinic!.

We are looking for a candidate who promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being by addressing the whole person--mind, body, and spirit who uses natural, non-invasive techniques and individualized wellness plans to help clients achieve balance, improve lifestyle habits, and prevent illness.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including health history, lifestyle habits, nutrition, and stress factors. Develop personalized wellness plans incorporating natural and holistic therapies (e.g., herbal remedies, nutrition, energy healing, mindfulness, aromatherapy, or massage). Educate clients on healthy lifestyle choices, stress management, and self-care practices. Provide ongoing support and follow-up to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed. Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with provincial and ethical standards. Stay informed about developments in holistic health, complementary therapies, and integrative medicine. Collaborate with other health professionals (e.g., massage therapists, naturopaths, counsellors) when appropriate. Promote services through community outreach, workshops, or social media presence.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all client interactions. Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to assess situations critically and make informed decisions. Flexibility and adaptability in handling various client needs and treatment approaches. Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Holistic Health, Natural Health, or a related field (e.g., Naturopathy, Herbalism, Reflexology, or Reiki). Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and holistic healing principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to client confidentiality, safety, and professional ethics. Membership or registration with a recognized holistic or wellness association in Alberta
