Job Description

We are looking for a licensed and safety-conscious

Hoisting Engineer - Mobile Crane Operator (0-8 Ton)

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile cranes in a safe and efficient manner, performing lifts in various work environments including construction, industrial, and municipal job sites.

Key Responsibilities:



Operate mobile cranes with lifting capacity up to 8 tons in accordance with job specifications and site requirements

Set up and inspect crane equipment daily to ensure operational safety and compliance

Safely rig and hoist materials, equipment, and machinery as required

Work with site supervisors and signalers to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth job execution

Maintain accurate records of lifts, inspections, and equipment logs

Follow all applicable safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Qualifications:



Valid

Ontario Hoisting Engineer - Mobile Crane Operator (0-8 Ton) Certificate



Experience operating small mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings

Solid knowledge of rigging, load calculations, and safe lifting practices

Ability to read and interpret lift plans, site layouts, and safety documentation

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments and variable conditions

Valid DZ driver's license

Candidates must currently reside in Ontario and be legally eligible to work in Canada. This is an on-site position.
