Under the direct supervision of the Director of Sport Operations for all LUG Sports Leagues, the Game Day Staff will assist the referee and timekeeper in managing our LUG Sports Hockey League!
Game Day Staff Role:
Act as a main point of communication between LUG Players and Management to ensure the successful execution of games.
Pre Game:
Arrive 15-20 Minutes before the first game you are assigned to work.
Check Arena Dressing Room assignments to ensure they are accurate to the teams playing that night.
Introduce yourself to arena staff as the LUG Staff to come to you if there are any issues, questions, or concerns
Timekeeper Check In: Ensure the timekeeper has arrived, they are set up, ready to record stats and play music at games
Referee Room Check in: Ensure the referees have arrived!
Help ensure with captains of teams that all their roster numbers have been updated correctly so that the timekeeper can keep track of stats correctly.
Game-Time:
Observe the game that is happening during your shift
Post on Social Media on the respective LUG account for your division (game highlights, interviews, team photos, etc..)
If any fight, altercation, intoxicated behavior, poor treatment of officials, racist or deterring behavior takes place - please report it to use below.
Report any alcohol if found on the bench or with the players as they come in.
Post-Game:
Submit all necessary reports immediately after the game for LUG Management Review.
