Location: Toronto, Ontario (3-4 days onsite minimum)
Duration: 6 Months
Introduction
We are seeking a detail-oriented SharePoint Developer / Workflow Specialist to support the Audit Attestation process by designing and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions that streamline documentation, approvals, and compliance workflows. This role demands expertise in SharePoint UI customization, form design, and workflow development using native or custom tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in SharePoint development (Online and/or On-Premise)
  • Strong experience in SharePoint UI customization and form designing
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and custom workflow development
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery, and REST APIs
  • Experience in audit, compliance, or regulated environments is a strong asset
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with audit lifecycle tools or GRC platforms
  • Client certifications (e.g., MS-600, PL-400)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and PowerShell scripting
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites for Audit Attestation documentation and tracking
  • Design intuitive, compliant SharePoint forms for data capture, approvals, and evidence submission
  • Build and manage custom workflows using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, or other native/custom tools
  • Ensure secure access controls and audit trails for sensitive documentation
  • Collaborate with audit, compliance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
  • Implement UI enhancements for improved usability and navigation
  • Maintain versioning, metadata tagging, and retention policies aligned with audit standards
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders
