Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Architect
Location: MARKHAM, Ontario
Duration: 6 Months

The role involves defining and overseeing the implementation of strategic cybersecurity capabilities within one or more security domains. This includes contributing to target architecture and roadmaps, embedding security by design and privacy by design into all projects, and undertaking reviews and governance of technology architecture. The role requires collaboration with the CISO and infrastructure team to design security solutions that meet organizational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in Digital Cloud Security Management and Identity and Access Management Implementation, Design & Architecture.
• Experience with AWS security services such as AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, AWS Macie, AWS GuardDuty, and AWS IAM.
• Proficiency in implementing endpoint security measures using tools like CrowdStrike Falcon Complete, Falcon Insight, and Falcon Prevent.
• Experience in managing IAM solutions, including Intra ID and OKTA for B2B authentication.
• Strong working knowledge of managing security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, web application firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, and log management technology.
• Ability to conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify and mitigate threats.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and modern application architecture.
• Leadership skills with effective stakeholder and relationship management.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Knowledge of application security using Dynatrace.
• Experience in vulnerability management tools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Work with others to embed security by design and privacy by design into all projects.
• Deliver security solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and align with IT Strategy.
• Stay updated with security trends and technologies to address emerging risks.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.
