Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - AML
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking a motivated and experienced analyst to join our team. This role involves working on high-impact projects within the financial regulatory and anti-money laundering (AML) space.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering banking and trade finance BPS.
Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.
Expertise in data analysis, data lineage, data quality, and source-to-target mapping.
Experience with both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency in SharePoint for document collaboration and workflow automation.
Strong stakeholder engagement and consensus-building skills.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience in translating business needs into system requirements using BRDs, SRS, and FSDs.
Experience in facilitating sign-off on deliverables for strategic and compliance-driven projects.
Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and document information in relatable terms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Conduct requirements gathering and documentation for various projects.
Perform data analysis and ensure data quality and lineage.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
Use SharePoint for document collaboration and stakeholder communication.
