We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead and oversee the testing strategies for complex projects. The role involves defining quality gates and KPIs, leading end-to-end testing across multiple systems, and ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards. The successful candidate will contribute to release readiness decisions and present quality status to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in functional testing and test strategy development.
• Ability to lead testing across dependent systems such as policy admin, billing, claims, data ETL, and portals.
• Strong skills in defect prevention, requirement reviews, risk workshops, and story refinements.
• Experience with UAT strategy and readiness, aligning business test scenarios to real-world journeys.
• Expertise in regression suite oversight, including maintenance, prioritization, and identifying automation opportunities.
• Proficiency in crafting sophisticated SQL for data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and accessibility standards (e.g., PIPEDA, WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Experience mentoring junior and intermediate testers to uplift test practices and templates.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a senior functional tester role, acting as a quality champion for complex initiatives.
• Ability to partner effectively with product, architecture, and operations teams.
• Strong communication skills to present quality status to leadership.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Own the test strategy and planning for complex projects.
• Lead end-to-end testing across multiple systems and teams.
• Drive defect prevention through early requirement reviews and risk workshops.
• Direct UAT strategy and readiness, aligning business test scenarios to real-world journeys.
• Oversee regression suites and identify automation opportunities.
• Validate data quality across integrations.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and accessibility standards.
• Mentor junior and intermediate testers.
• Contribute to release readiness decisions and present quality status to leadership.
