Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or specialized AWS performance testing tools.
Experience in creating and executing test scripts for various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).
Ability to design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans and strategies for AWS-based applications.
Strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks, performance regressions, and potential issues within AWS environments or application code.
Understanding of AWS-specific performance considerations, including auto-scaling and serverless architectures.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with monitoring the performance of AWS resources and application components during test execution.
Ability to generate detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Knowledge of optimizing for cost-effectiveness while maintaining performance.
Familiarity with conducting different types of performance tests, such as load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead performance testing efforts for AWS-based applications.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve application performance.
Continuously monitor and enhance performance testing processes.
