Hey!
Our painting team at Student Works painting is looking for motivated individuals to join our spring/summer painting team!
We are looking for the hardest-working, most motivated students (or student-aged people) in Calgary and Okotoks who want to be a part of a very tight-knit group of awesome people who want to earn what they are worth. This season alone, our team will be responsible for painting 50+ homes in the southeast of Calgary which will result in happy clients and crew members.
About the position:
- Fast-paced, fun environment
- Hands-on experience in customer service and communication
- Work outdoors with a crew of 2-3 people
- Working with friends is encouraged, so apply together if you wish
- Training is provided; therefore, no experience is necessary!
This role is a fun and challenging position ideal for someone wanting to get hands-on work experience and make money over the summer. The perfect individual is hard-working, coachable and has practical communication skills. There are many opportunities for promotions that come along with valuable leadership and management experience.
Painter Requirements:
- Able to work full-time throughout the majority of the summer
- Must have own transportation (job site locations change frequently)
- Manual labour and ladder work is required.
- Crew chiefs take on more responsibilities (higher compensation)
-Our painting systems allow our top painters to make upwards of 20- 28$/hour, with our average painter making 20$/hour.
-Starting rate dependent on experience. Raises based on proven skill after the start date. Bonuses will depend on performance and the criteria established by the Manager.
