We are seeking a skilled analyst with expertise in testing Oracle Fusion Applications to join our team for a 6-month contract in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing various Oracle Fusion modules and a strong understanding of software QA methodologies and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• More than 5 years of proven experience as a QA Tester, with a significant focus on Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Hands-on experience testing at least two of the following Oracle Fusion modules: Financials (FSCM), HCM, SCM.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Zephyr).
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Experience testing inbound and outbound integrations with other systems (e.g., EDI, SOAP/REST APIs, PLSQL).
• Experience in supporting business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Test end-to-end business processes within and across Oracle Fusion modules.
• Validate reports and analytics built using OTBI.
• Analyze business requirements, functional design documents, and user stories to understand testing scope.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute test cases manually and automate where possible for various types of testing.
• Identify, record, document, and track defects meticulously using tools like JIRA, ALM, or OTBI.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Create and maintain test documentation for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
