The Integrations Engineer focuses on the final stages of the sales process, offering technical integration services and code-level support to small and medium-sized merchants. This role ensures a seamless transition from sales acquisition to a live transactional state. The team facilitates the initial integration of PayPal products into websites, apps, or software, ensuring merchants are fully informed of product features for optimal integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful API, Frameworks, etc.)
• Expertise in at least one server-side language (PHP, Python, .Net, Node.js, etc.)
• Exposure to server and database technologies (Apache, Nginx, ISS, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Ability to influence and interact successfully with all levels of clients and internal stakeholders

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in creating delightful experiences for partners
• Motivated self-starter with a thirst for knowledge
• Proactive and customer-focused leader

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the integration lifecycle
• Oversee implementation-related activities for merchants
• Drive discussions, run presentations, facilitate demos, and provide sample integrations
• Collaborate with the core project team and internal business partners to ensure timely delivery
• Implement optimal integration strategies using PayPal's best practices
• Provide recommendations on support issues and relay feedback to internal groups
