We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abatement Worker and a foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective removal of hazardous materials from various sites. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in diverse environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough cleaning and abatement of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and mold.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for demolition and restoration tasks.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Prepare job sites by setting up necessary equipment and ensuring all materials are available.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after projects.
Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
Previous experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous material handling.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
