Please send us how long you have been grooming, what type of hours you are looking for, how many dogs per day you want to groom, which days you prefer to work.

All groomers are independent contractors on a 50/50 basis.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will interact with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments.

Duties

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for a variety of dog breeds. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments to the owner at check in Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any concerns observed during the grooming process. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Assist in heavy lifting of larger pets as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety. Working along side other groomers and being a team player

Qualifications

Previous experience in dog grooming is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals. Knowledge of various dog breeds, including specific grooming requirements for each breed is a plus. A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their well-being. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
