We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. This role involves designing, engineering, and deploying solutions on MS SQL Server, with an emphasis on automation and database development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and a proven track record of optimizing and maintaining database systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

5 years of hands-on DBA experience with strong skills in MS SQL Server.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
1 year experience with database automation and development tools (e.g., Ansible, AWS CDK, GitHub Action, Liquibase, shell scripting, Python, SQL).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle or AWS RDS, Redshift DBMS technologies.
Experience designing and developing solutions to migrate or upgrade existing databases.
Experience with monitoring capacity, high-availability, and performance for databases.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design, engineer, and deploy solutions on MS SQL Server.
Build and leverage automation and database development pipelines to provision, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems.
Support database change requests and problem investigation and resolution for both production and non-production environments.
