Chef / Line Cook
to join our team and contribute to our growing success.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and street food.
Maintain high-quality food preparation standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including prep work, cooking, and plating.
Assist in inventory management, ordering ingredients, and ensuring minimal food wastage.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Adjust recipes and seasoning according to customer preferences when needed.
Handle kitchen equipment properly and ensure regular maintenance.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a chef or line cook, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
