We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Capital Markets and Financial Services to join our team for a 6-month project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding client business needs, identifying opportunities and risks, and translating these into formal requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis within Capital Markets and Financial Services.
Proven experience with BASEL regulatory reporting and capital calculations.
Strong understanding of credit risk and finance systems.
Proficiency in SQL for handling large data volumes.
Ability to function as a liaison between business stakeholders and project teams.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

CBAP, CFA, or CSC certification.
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Data Lakes.
Knowledge of Drools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive information gathering sessions and documentation.
Prepare detailed business requirements and data sourcing mapping documents.
Identify, track, and resolve business systems issues.
Ensure traceability of requirements to deliverables and test cases.
Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
