We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an ARE Automation Engineer with a focus on DevOps and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive and effective work environment, actively participate in proof-of-concept efforts, and assist in the analysis, testing, and implementation of business solutions. This role requires proficiency in tools and processes required for developing and delivering software solutions, as well as building and maintaining DevOps capabilities to support agile product development.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in DevOps, focusing on continuous integration, infrastructure deployments, application code packaging and deployments, and test automation.
• Proficiency in development with Java, NodeJS, JavaScript, and .NET.
• Experience with Jenkins, Nexus/Artifactory, and expertise in creating, integrating, and supporting automated build & deployment pipelines.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, and NPM.
• Knowledge of configuration management and containerization solutions such as Salt, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Mesos, and OpenShift.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting cloud virtual machines using Open Stack, Cloudify, AWS, Azure, Bluemix, or Google Cloud.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Understanding of networking (routing, load balancing, firewalls), storage (local, NAS, SAN), and environment integration testing within lower environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA and knowledge of monitoring systems like Nagios/AppDynamics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Contribute to the team's effectiveness and a positive work environment.
• Coordinate technical changes across teams for successful and timely delivery of projects.
• Ensure documentation is prepared, accurate, and compliant with standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives.
• Manage and support project application environments, prioritizing and managing workload to meet delivery dates.
• Support the team by continuously developing knowledge in your area and triaging and escalating issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
