We're looking for reliable Call-In Snowplow Operators to join our Elbow River Maintenance team for the winter season. This is an on-call position with approximately 12+ hours' notice before a storm event. You'll be responsible for snowplowing designated routes to help keep roadways safe and clear during winter weather conditions.

This role is perfect for someone looking for a great second job, extra income, or hands-on experience in highway maintenance. You'll work with modern equipment -- all automatic transmission plows, no manual shifting required -- and gain valuable experience in winter operations.

How You'll Add Value

Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment Safely operate automatic snowplow trucks to clear snow and ice from assigned routes Respond to storm call-ins with approximately 12+ hours' notice Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours, no overnight shifts required

What You Bring



Valid Class 3 or 1 Driver's License with air brake endorsement with a Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions Live within approximately 1 hour of the shop (shop located - NE Hwy 8 & 22 - between Cochrane and Bragg Creek) Prior snowplow or heavy equipment experience is an asset, but not required -- training provided

Note: Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing will be required.
