The Opportunity

We are currently hiring experienced Class 1 Highway Drivers for our Okanagan run, covering routes throughout Interior BC. This position offers a 3-day work week, with the potential for 4 days, depending on workload.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer on highway routes within Interior BC. Perform scheduled deliveries on the Okanagan run while meeting company and customer expectations. Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate electronic logs and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. Handle manual labour duties, including lifting and cargo handling (up to 70-75 lbs).

Requirements

Valid Class 1 driver's license. 3-5 years of verifiable Canadian highway driving experience, with a strong preference for BC mountain and winter driving experience. Must be able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions. Experience with ELDs and a solid understanding of federal Hours of Service regulations. Clean driver's abstract (maximum 4 demerit points), no impaired driving charges in the past 5 years. Must be fluent in English (both spoken and written). Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented. Able and willing to perform physical labour as required.
