Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AZ driver for Highway cross border operations. This role involves operating tractor-trailers for freight delivery while ensuring safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. As an AZ Highway Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to timely and efficient service.
Responsibilities
Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving standards. Eligible and authorized to cross the border (required) Strong understanding of freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.24 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
