We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Driver will also be expected to handle various types of freight and operate heavy equipment as needed.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
