We are currently looking for an individual to join our team of instructors at Saskatoon NORTH Kumon Math and Reading centre to help in providing amazing experiences to the families who attend.

is seeking a qualified and motivated
Higher-Level Math Instructor
to support students working on advanced mathematics within the Kumon program. This position requires strong subject knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering independent learning in students.
Responsibilities
Provide instruction and support to students completing higher-level Kumon math worksheets (algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, and beyond).
Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and understanding.
Offer clear explanations and guidance when students encounter challenges.
Collaborate with the Centre Director to assess student readiness for advancement.
Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics through calculus (post-secondary coursework in mathematics or a related field preferred).
Previous experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in mathematics at the high school or post-secondary level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Reliable, organized, and committed to student development.

: Part-time
Schedule
: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 4:00 - 7:30
Wage:
Starting at $18/hour based on individual experience.

This is a long-term, on-going part-time position.
