We are seeking a patient, reliable, and enthusiastic
Academic Tutor
to support student athletes up to the high school level. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to explain concepts clearly, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.Responsibilities:
Provide group tutoring sessions for students in elementary through high school. Not to run a class just to answer questions and help students. Assist students in core subjects such as Math, English, Science, and other relevant coursework. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents. Help with homework, test preparation, and study skills. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge in multiple subject areas (Math, English, Science, etc.). Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, adaptable, and able to connect with students of varying learning styles. High school diploma required; college/university degree or current enrollment is preferred. Must be available for 7 hours per week (schedule to be determined).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 per week
Work Location: In person
