The Opportunity

High School Teacher

We are seeking dedicated High School Teachers to join our team and inspire students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Teaching the high school subjects to Grade 9-12 students. Availability at the school premises from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Toronto. Preparing daily lesson plans, assessment & evaluation per Growing Success document. Marking the assessments/evaluations and reporting back to the principal in a timely manner. Possessing interest in fostering diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice to promote a healthy learning environment. Engaging in positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in a related field. Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) considered a strong asset Demonstrate mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for courses taught. Experienced with teaching the high school course and preparing daily lesson plans in accordance with the Ontario curriculum. Experienced in developing Course Outlines and Course of Study is an asset.
