We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Islamic High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth. This role requires effective communication and time management skills to educate students in subjects such as Math and other core areas. Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in their teachable area.
Be familiar in Ontario curriculum in their teachables and the Growing Success document.
Educate students in various subjects using innovative teaching methods.
Strong and creative classroom management strategies.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning.
Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback based on Growing Success.
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
Utilize office software such as Word for administrative tasks related to lesson planning and grading.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
Experience
Previous experience working with teenagers (12-17) in an educational setting is required.
Familiarity with teaching methodologies that support diverse learners, including those with disabilities.
Proficiency in time management to balance teaching responsibilities effectively.
Bilingual abilities are a plus, particularly for engaging with non-English speaking students or families.
Experience in integrating technology into the classroom is beneficial.
Strong time management and planning skills is required.
Being punctual to classes.
