Hope Christian School is seeking a qualified and faith-driven teacher to join our team as soon as possible. This position is fully online, allowing you to teach from your own home; a reliable internet connection is required. Relocation is not necessary.


Hope Christian School is an online, alternate Christian faith-based school within Prairie Land Public School Division, committed to academic excellence and Christ-centered education.


This is a part time (0.6 FTE), temporary position, teaching high school Math and Chemistry through synchronous online instruction. This is a maternity leave replacement position to commence April 13, 2026 for the duration of the school year. There is a possibility of an extension into the new school year.

Letters of reference &/or names of references who can testify about your Christian faith and beliefs. Letters of reference &/or names of references who can recommend you based on your teaching experience and abilities.

Applicant's able to demonstrate proficiency, education and experience in operating in an online learning environment will be given preference and particularly those with experience using Zoom, Canvas as a learning management system and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with both PC and MAC computer platforms is desirable. You will display a thorough knowledge of effective teaching strategies and excellent communication skills along with a dedicated approach to learning. Teachers must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate.
