Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to inspire and educate students across various subjects. Bilingual abilities in English and French or Spanish are highly desirable to support diverse student needs. Duties



Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for high school students. Deliver engaging instruction in subjects such as Math, English, French, or Spanish, utilizing effective teaching methods. Provide tutoring and additional support to students requiring extra assistance, including those with special education needs or disabilities. Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and projects; provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior. Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences; utilize computer skills effectively during instruction. Manage classroom behavior and implement discipline policies consistently. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; teaching certification preferred. Prior classroom experience at the high school level is highly desirable. Bilingual proficiency in English and French or Spanish is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with tutoring students of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special education needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer skills relevant to teaching technology integration. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities. Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work well with colleagues, students, and parents. Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
