Teach small group classes and private lessons to students in grades 9-12, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (at least two subjects).
Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to students' academic levels and learning needs.
Provide clear explanations of challenging topics, including but not limited to algebra, calculus, mechanics, thermodynamics, chemical reactions, and biological systems.
Prepare students for exams, including standardized tests and advanced assessments in science and math subjects.
Use engaging and interactive teaching methods to enhance students' problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding.
Provide regular feedback and guidance to support students' academic growth.
Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and academic achievement.
Requirements:
Language: English and Mandarin
Strong subject knowledge: Proficiency in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (at least two subjects), with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Degree in a relevant field: Must hold a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.
Experience with high school curriculum: Familiarity with the grade 9-12 curriculum and the ability to prepare students for advanced assessments and exams.
Caring and patient: Must enjoy working with high school students and be committed to their academic and personal development.
Class management skills: Strong classroom management skills are essential to create a structured and productive learning environment in both small group and private lesson settings.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to new teaching methods, tools, and changing academic requirements.
Team player: Willing to collaborate with other teachers and staff, and be flexible to assist with additional teaching responsibilities as needed.
Previous teaching experience in high school Math and Science subjects is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
