Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in senior-level Math and/or Science Design curriculum and assessments aligned with the

Ontario Curriculum

and Growing Success*
Use

Schoology LMS

to organize digital course materials and communicate with students Develop and deliver

real-world STEM lessons and activities

Track student performance using effective assessment practices (AFL and AOL) Submit attendance, report cards, and achievement data in a timely manner Participate in staff meetings, PD sessions, and collaborative planning Support student success through communication with counselors and families

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Physics, Science, Education, or a related field High school teaching experience (or B.Ed. practicum) Familiar with Ontario Curriculum & Growing Success*
Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable with technology, including Schoology, Maplewood, Zoom, Office Suite Reside in Ontario and available for

in-person instruction

Preferred:

OCT Certification

or completion of a B.Ed. program Experience teaching

Grade 12 Advanced Functions, Calculus, or Physics

Experience designing or delivering STEM programming Creative, student-centered approach to teaching Strong classroom management skills in diverse learning environments

Compensation & Benefits

Salary:

$45,000 per year (for a 10-month full-time contract)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, full-time (September to June)
