*Time: starts from 3:30pm on weekdays / all day on weekends.

*Location: 7550 Birchmoount Rd. / 9833 Markham Rd. Markham ON

Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics to students in Grades 9-12 through small-group classes and individualized tutoring sessions. Design tailored lesson plans that reflect each student's academic level and learning objectives. Explain challenging topics--such as algebra, calculus, mechanics, thermodynamics, chemical reactions, and biological principles--in a clear and accessible way. Support students in preparing for a range of assessments, including standardized tests and advanced math and science exams. Use interactive and engaging teaching approaches to enhance students' problem-solving skills and deepen their understanding of core concepts. Provide regular, helpful feedback and ongoing academic guidance to promote steady progress. Foster an encouraging and productive learning environment that strengthens critical thinking and overall academic achievement.

Requirements:

Language ability: Strong proficiency in both Mandarin and English. Subject knowledge: Solid foundation in Mathematics and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related discipline. High school curriculum familiarity: Experience working with Grade 9-12 content and preparing learners for advanced examinations. Student-focused approach: Patient, supportive, and committed to helping high school students succeed. Classroom management: Capable of maintaining a structured and efficient learning setting in both group and one-to-one contexts. Adaptability: Willingness to adopt new teaching strategies, technologies, and curriculum updates. Teamwork: Able to collaborate well with colleagues and assist with instructional tasks when necessary. Prior teaching experience in high school Math or Science is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with students, families, and school staff.
