Job Description
Utilize technology effectively in the classroom, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects; provide constructive feedback.
Maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching strategies.
Experience
Proven experience in teaching or tutoring high school students is preferred. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong writing skills are essential for lesson planning and reporting. Demonstrated leadership abilities within an educational setting. Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Organizational skills and time management capabilities to effectively balance teaching responsibilities.
