Conduct small-group classes and one-on-one lessons for students in grades 9-12, with an emphasis on advanced reading, writing, and literary analysis.
Design tailored lesson plans that address each student's academic level and learning needs.
Apply interactive and engaging teaching strategies to enhance students' language proficiency and analytical skills.
Prepare students for examinations, including advanced literature and composition assessments.
Offer constructive feedback and individualized guidance to promote ongoing academic growth.
Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
Strong subject knowledge: In-depth understanding of English language, literature, and advanced writing techniques.
Strong background in English literature: Must have excellent knowledge of English literature and be a graduate with a degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
Caring and patient: Must enjoy working with high school students and be committed to their academic and personal growth.
Class management skills: Strong classroom management skills are essential to create a productive learning environment in both small group and private lesson settings.
Personalized instruction: Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit the individual learning needs of high school students.
Team player: Willing to collaborate with other teachers and staff, and be flexible to assist with additional teaching responsibilities as needed.
Adaptability: Capable of adjusting to new teaching methods, learning tools, and evolving curriculum standards.
Previous teaching experience with high school students is preferred.
