Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating students in chemistry and possibly science 8-10. This role requires creativity, adaptability, and the ability to engage students effectively.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Educate students in chemistry. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices. Utilize technology and computerized tools to enhance the learning experience. Provide tutoring support for students who require additional assistance outside of regular class hours. Maintain open communication with supervisor and parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.

Skills

Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and ability to teach effectively at the high school level. Experience working in a classroom setting with high school students. The ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to engage students through innovative teaching techniques and personalized instruction. Experience working with tutoring capacity is highly desirable.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
