High Performance Strength & Conditioning Coach is responsible for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of strength and conditioning programs at Craven SPORT Services. This role can include collaboration between strength training coaches and other members of the interdisciplinary team, through the journey of rehabilitation, athlete development, and high-performance training culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement evidence-based strength and conditioning programs tailored to various populations, including athletes, general fitness clients, and rehabilitation patients.
Ensure programs are aligned with physiotherapy services to optimize recovery and performance outcomes and communication back to clinical staff.
Monitor client progress and adjust programming as needed based on performance data and feedback.
Be able to educate the client on the reasoning behind exercise selection, and important cues/tips/precautions when needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
Graduate of a University Kinesiology degree program.
Certification in Clinical Exercise Physiology (CSEP - CEP) or CSCS required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sport and team training.
Experience with VALD Force Decks and Dynamo use and data analysis
Experience with Team Builder preferred
