Position Type: Full-timeExciting Opportunity for a HematopathologistOur client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hematopathologist to join their team as the Division Head of Hematopathology and Transfusion Medicine in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic department in a well-equipped and modern healthcare facility.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert medical reporting and consultation on peripheral blood morphology, bone marrow morphology, coagulation, and flow cytometry cases.Offer clinical oversight, ensuring quality assurance, hemovigilance, and regulatory compliance.Supervise and collaborate with technologists to maintain excellence in laboratory operations.Participate in the on-call rotation for the Department of Laboratory Medicine.Work as part of an interdisciplinary team and consult with various healthcare professionals.Engage in research opportunities with protected time available for qualified candidates.Contribute to teaching and mentorship programs for medical students and residents.Work Schedule:As per assigned schedule.Compensation & Incentives:Alternative Funding Plan (AFP) remuneration model.$50,000 signing incentive with a two-year return-of-service agreement.Relocation reimbursement up to $8,000.Qualifications:Certification in Hematopathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or an equivalent recognized credential.Alternatively, RCPSC certification in General Pathology or Anatomical Pathology with additional fellowship training in Hematopathology.Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.Membership in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.Physically capable of fulfilling all required duties.About the Facility:The facility is recognized for its cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment services, specializing in reconstructive and restorative medicine.
