MDS Coating is currently looking for a Help Desk Technician to support our IT Team in our Slemon Park, PE facility. As part of MDS Coating, you will be a member of a growing team, contributing to the integrity, security, and performance of MDS's network systems while providing support for infrastructure upgrades, device and workstation setup, troubleshooting, and day-to-day network maintenance. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and senior IT team members to ensure systems are configured effectively and securely.

What we are looking for
:
Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent, is an asset
CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation certification is an asset
Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is an asset
2-5 years experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role with Windows, Android, mobile operating systems, Active Directory and IT Service Management (ITSM) preferred
Experience working in a customer-facing and team environment preferred
Excellent organization, coordination and technical skills to receive, prioritize, resolve IT incidents and service requests, perform upgrades/patching for end-user devices,
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex performance issues, user access problems, and software functionality errors.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Customer-focused with attention to detail and willingness to learn
Experience in a clean, quality-controlled environment is an asset.
Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for Controlled Goods
