Help Desk Technician

to join our support team and be the first point of contact for our valued customers.

Position Summary:


The Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing front-line support for technical issues related to hardware, software, and electronic systems. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and a genuine passion for helping others. It's a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within the electronics and technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing timely and effective technical support Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as needed Track, document, and manage support requests through internal ticketing systems Assist in configuring, maintaining, and upgrading electronic devices and systems Collaborate with technical teams to resolve recurring issues and improve service quality Provide clear instructions and guidance to customers in both technical and non-technical terms Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SD Electronics' products and services

Qualifications:



Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and electronic devices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience with help desk software and remote troubleshooting tools is an asset
