Help Desk Technician / Field Service Technician

Job Description

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent.
  • Requires at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Responsibilities:

  • Works under general supervision. Some degree of creativity and latitude is required Key Tasks:
  • On-site software support
  • Repair of high-end printers and multi-function devices
  • Hardware repair and software restoration at server component level * Network device replacement/configuration
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Executing 'Smart Hands'
Qualifications:
  • Requires experience in the field or related field; familiar with a variety of domain concepts, practices and procedures
  • Able to perform call handling in a real-time reporting environment * Able to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Certifications:
  • CompTIA A+
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $19.00-$20.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:

Experience:
  • Field Service Tech: 5 years (preferred)
Language:
