We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician - Working Team Lead !

The Opportunity:

Wayver Rentals Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team as a working team lead. We are looking for a team player that is self-motivated, safety conscience, organized, experience managing people and work scopes.

The Role:

This is a front line position managing and mentoring maintenance staff and managing a diverse equipment fleet at a large mine site(s). Requires interaction and coordination with customer(s), WR office and staff. The ideal candidate would have a diverse understanding of marine and construction equipment, pumps, generators and heaters as well as strong leadership skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Follow procedures and safe work practices. Dispatch service calls and manage staff. Maintain and repair diverse fleet of construction equipment, boats, barges, generators, light towers, compressors, pumps, heaters, skid steers, telehandlers, AWPs, loaders, excavators, P&V trucks, and UTVs. Complete and submit required documentation and service reports. Maintain and stock service vehicle. Operate independently with attention to detail and quality workmanship. Portray and promote company in a positive and professional manner.

Required Qualifications:

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician 5+ Years Industry Experience Valid Class 5 driver's license Undergo and successfully pass Drug & Alcohol Test Ability to operate heavy machinery

Schedule:

7 on 7 off day shift.

Salary:

Competitive wages, fully funded benefits package, LOA and RRSP incentive plan. Camp is available, no flights at this time.
