Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, and farm machinery. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The Equipment Technician will also provide excellent customer service while working collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment. with a wide range of equipment. Perform routine maintenance on various types of machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components. Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing and repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in a dealership or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment maintenance. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe operation of heavy machinery. Ability to work with various tools including hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in assembly work is a plus; electrical experience is also desirable. Pay: $25.85-$55.98 per hour
