Your Role

As a

Heavy Equipment Technician - 2nd Year Apprentice

, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers' equipment running smoothly. Working out of our

Kamloops, BC

location, you'll perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment.


Complete preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing tools. Recommend repairs and suggest methods for improvement. Maintain clear documentation and service records. Stay current with changing technology and promote a culture of safety. Work in a range of environments, including confined spaces and variable weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs.

2nd Year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice.

A strong

commitment to safety

in everything you do. Experience working within the heavy equipment industry Completion of the

Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation

program is an asset. Effective communication skills. Valid Class 5 driver's licence. Ability to travel and meet customer site access requirements. Experience with Komatsu equipment is an asset.
