Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of heavy machinery. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on job sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including graders, bulldozers, and loaders for various construction tasks. Perform horizontal drilling and paving operations as required. Dig and build according to project specifications while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating machinery.

Experience

Proven experience in equipment operation, particularly with Caterpillar machinery. Familiarity with grader operation, bulldozing, paving, and loader operation is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment. A valid commercial driving license is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
